Taking the undergraduate education and teaching audit and evaluation as an opportunity to learn the successful experience of brother colleges and universities in welcoming the evaluation and promoting the construction work, the party and government team of the college went to Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology to conduct a research on the afternoon of January 11th. The research mainly focuses on how to carry out a new round of audit and evaluation work, master's point declaration, how to carry out party building work and other topics, and undergraduate education and teaching self-assessment work of the college was discussed.
At the meeting, Wang Guoqiang, Dean of School of Mathematics,Physics and Statistics, Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, delivered a welcome speech and introduced the overall operation of the School from the aspects of faculty construction, teaching, scientific research achievements, professional and disciplinary construction, and distinctive programs. Zheng Zhongtuan, Vice Dean of Teaching and Learning, introduced the just-concluded work of undergraduate education teaching audit and assessment in four aspects: preparation for assessment and construction, issues of concern for online visit, work arrangement for experts entering the school, and summary of assessment and construction work. Qian Huimin, Secretary of the Joint Party Committee of Mathematical and Physical Foreign Languages, Mei Yuanyuan, Deputy Secretary, and Wu Jianbao, Vice Dean of Research, gave an introduction to the Party building work, student work, and the declaration of the Master of Applied Statistics respectively.
The two colleges exchanged views on the organic and deep integration of party building work and business work.
Through this research, our college has learned the good experience and good practices of the brother institutions and broadened its thinking. For the new round of undergraduate education teaching audit and assessment work in 2024, we will coordinate and arrange in advance against the requirements of the audit and assessment implementation plan and the assessment index system, and actively do the preparatory work related to welcoming the assessment and promote the construction of undergraduate education by assessment, promote the improvement of undergraduate education by assessment, promote the management of undergraduate education by assessment, and promote the strengthening of undergraduate education by assessment.
