In order to help students correctly understand the examination and career development, set up reasonable goals, and make good academic planning as early as possible, on the afternoon of March 18, the School of Mathematics,Physics and Statistics in 7100 classroom grandly held a sharing session of the examination of the public bank, aiming to point out the road for the majority of mathematics and statistics students to go forward by sharing the experience of those who have gone to the bank.

At the beginning of the sharing session, Ms. Hou Yijie provided students with valuable advice by combining her own job-seeking experience. She emphasized the importance of clear job-seeking goals, and suggested that before setting goals, we should have a deep understanding of our own needs and choose suitable internship units in order to accumulate more targeted internship experience and interview skills. In addition, she also encouraged everyone to actively participate in club activities to enhance their comprehensive ability; to participate in academic competitions to consolidate their knowledge base; and to keep asking for advice during the internship process to sharpen their professional skills. She firmly believes that these experiences will be the solid cornerstone for students to realize their career dreams.

Ms. Hou Yijie also shared her experience of interviewing. She reminded students to fully prepare for the interview, including understanding the common interview questions and simulating the interview scenarios. During the interview process, it is important to maintain self-confidence, show talent, and have good communication and collaboration skills. She encouraged everyone to face the setbacks of job hunting with a positive mindset, believing that every failure is a necessary path to success.

Afterwards, Mr. Deng Zhantao shared his experience of public examination on the stage. He introduced in detail the important position of taxation in the national economy and elaborated on the mutual supportive role of taxation and statistics in optimizing tax administration. He emphasized that tax work requires solid professional knowledge and keen data analysis ability, and suggested students to focus on improving these two aspects in the study process. Regarding the process of public examination, the senior provided students with detailed advice on preparation for the examination based on his personal experience. He reminded everyone to pay attention to the public examination policy, make a reasonable preparation plan, and pay attention to the interview skills and mentality adjustment.

Finally, Mr. Deng Zhantao sent a message to the students to cherish their time in school, study hard for professional knowledge and improve their personal qualities. He hoped that no matter what career path you choose, you can maintain the love and fear of work.
