In order to further promote the cultivation of the master's degree program in applied statistics, the college held a meeting in the conference room 518 in the afternoon of March 6. The meeting was presided over by Dean Luo Lin and some key teachers of the college attended it. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the declaration of research awards for the master's degree in applied statistics.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Luo Lin reviewed the progress of the previous work and explained the specific requirements for applying for the degree programs. After interpreting the relevant documents, she analyzed the current situation and challenges faced by our college in the declaration of the degree and made a deployment in response to the current shortcomings. She also put forward the specific requirements for each key teacher such as strengthening scientific research and striving to accomplish various targets.
The meeting was held to clarify the tasks and development ideas of our master's degree program declaration. Developing master's degree programs is a must for the college to achieve high quality development, which is also a clear requirement of the university for the development of the college as well as the goal of the college during the period of 14th Five-Year Plan. Every key teacher should take the initiative to realize this goal, strive to achieve high-level scientific research results, and jointly promote the construction of disciplines and professional development.
