Introduction of the reporter: Chi Jianming is a professor at Shanghai Institute of Electrical Engineering (SIEE), a master's supervisor, and a senior visiting scholar at the School of Mathematical Physics of the University of Eastern Finland. He is mainly engaged in the research in the fields of complex analysis, modeling of fractional-order nonlinear complex circuit transmission lines in integrated circuits, and physical properties of isolators in communication signal transmission. He has presided over and completed the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Scientific Research Innovation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education, and the Funding Program for Outstanding Young Teachers in Shanghai Universities. He has published more than sixty academic papers (more than 40 papers retrieved by SCI and more than 10 papers in domestic core journals and magazines) in authoritative academic journals at home and abroad, such as Chaos Solition Fract, Nonlinear Dynam, Alex Eng J, Science in China, Journal of Mathematical Physics, and so on.
In this presentation, Mr. Chi introduced the purpose and significance of the research on low-pass transmission lines. The traditional transmission line dynamics model is usually based on integer order differential equations, the introduction of fractional order calculus can more accurately describe the dynamic behavior of the nonlinear system, more accurately describe the behavior of the energy flow of the entire power system, and more responsive to the frequency characteristics of the resonant frequency and transmission characteristics of the circuit system. In the presentation, Mr. Chi reported the mathematical model based on fractional order nonlinear low-pass transmission line, the effect of fractional variable order on low-pass transmission and the selection of free parameters, bifurcation behavior and so on.
Through Professor Qi's presentation, we further understand the important application of fractional order differential equations in the mathematical modeling of nonlinear complex systems and communication signals. After the presentation, some teachers and students also had in-depth exchanges and discussions with Prof. Qi
