The Department of Mathematics of School of Mathematics,Physics and Statistics was established in October 2022, which was formed by the merger of the University Mathematics Teaching and Research Department and the Applied Mathematics Teaching and Research Department. The Department of Mathematics is responsible for the teaching of public university mathematics courses in the whole university, including three key courses at the university level, two courses of the Civic and Political Pilot Program, and two courses of the university's full English course construction project.
